My daughter is 15 today.
I called her to say HBD and she told me she got the card we sent her. She had a triple chocolate cake (totally evil) with candles.
Empath bought Mass Effect for himself and a Creative Labs Zen Stone MP3 player for me. I’m eager to try it out at the Y to see if the earbuds will stay in my ears. It holds 2G of music, is about 1″x2″ and has a plastic cover with clip. I had him put Deus Ex music on it. I can walk like I’m in Hong Kong, following that bratty Cassandra. “Screw you. I go somewhere else!”

I quit reading Stiletto Diaries. Today, I look to see another, third-in-a-row, massive Tweet update. I have nothing against Twitter or the people that use it. My peeve is with those who blog about their Tweets. Look kids, Twitter *is* a blog; you’re being redundant by posting summation posts of one blog on another blog. I have 3 blogs and a Twitter, but I keep them separate.
ION, the ILs left for their cabin. It’s grown-up time!! *dances*

I’m fed up with this woman. Shasta of Stiletto Diaries frequently makes blog posts about what she posted on Twitter. What’s the fucking point? I don’t make blog posts about my IM yakking. Why? Because anyone I’m IMing already reads my blog. It’s duplicate information; it’s redundant.
If you’re reading this and you post a summary of your Tweets on your blog: STOP.
For the love of fucking God, STOP IT.

How to disable the Big 5 Super Friends without causing harm:
Superman – Stick him somewhere underground
Batman & Robin – Airport security
Aquaman – Drop him in a desert
Wonder Woman – Steve Trevor ties her to the bed

Guess what I did to my right pinky toe last night? Yup, same thing I did to my left big toe (see previous post), only I rammed it into a chair leg. That’s right; I don’t do things by halves.
The shirt I’m getting for my birthday.

I was in the bathroom cleaning a spot of blood off the floor. I dropped the soiled tissue in the toilet, turned to walk to the sink and rammed my left big toe into a floorboard along the wall bottom. The noise was very loud and I yelled very loud. Empath helped me hop to the bedroom where he gave a cursory examination. He thinks it’s a strain of the joint/tendons. I elevated the foot while I ate supper, then he put a cold cloth on it while we watch NCIS on the History channel. I can feel things with my foot, so it’s no numb, but it hurts a bit to wiggle it.
Sleeping tonight will be interesting.
We bought a replacement chair yesterday – exact same – from Staples for $30.
My daughter doesn’t want anything material for her bday. No cookies.

Here’s my word cloud. Click here if you want to find out yours. Thanks to DD for this pointless fun. XD
ION, I broke my fifth chair an hour ago. One of the bracer bars under the seat snapped at the joint. Needless to say, I fell to the floor and peed a little from the scare.

I’m a lazy person. I’ve got to do laundry (again??? didn’t I do that 10 days ago?!?!), box up clothes, clear out the Dust Bunny population and push Empath to do things. MIL made an appointment with some garbage collectors (not regularĀ garbagemen) to pick up the old bed. I asked if other things could go out and she said yes. Time to ditch the 4 chairs I broke and the nasty, faux Laz-e-boy Empath sat in for 5 years. The guys picked up on Friday, but left the rowing machine, the bedframe and 1 chair because they had a lot of metal.
Yesterday, we took a drive to the nearest suburb since the city was closed due to a civic holiday. We got lost a bit, but it was nice to go somewhere different. We bought NCIS first season, though without the premiere episodes when it crossed with JAG, and Clerks X, the 10th anniversary edition, a shelving rack and a big plastic box for blankets and coats. Storing stuff means more washing.
I want to start up a DnD game with just myself and Empath. I thought about just jumping in with mid level characters, but I found many d/l modules from WotC that maybe we should start from scratch. Anyway, it’s off to the Y and the store for cantelope (on sale!).

We’re feeling better after a week of being sick and got time at the Y. I played on the elliptical bikes and man, do they go fast. I have been getting these weird headaches – just above my temples on either side (only one side at a time), it feels like an ice pick is being driven into my skull. I hope I don’t die in my sleep.
Not much is going on here. I should call my kid and find out for sure what she wants for her birthday.

Empath and I are both sick with slight colds. We blame the pigeons for giving us weird diseases.
I changed the blog template again to Sunburn.
The computer is going okay atm, but when I’m listening to YouTube, the playback is stuttery.
